Solid Waste to be at Earth Day Festival

Come by Solid Waste Management Booth at Garrard County's Fifth Annual Earth Day Festival this Sat., April 17th, 10 AM-5 PM, commit to actively participate in Anti-Litter/Beautification Campaign starting May 1st & enter drawing to win official CLEAN-UP KIT that will go to one Earth-Day visitor. Kit includes: 40” grabber, box 30 gal. bags, cotton gloves, hand sanitizer & official campaign t-shirt. (Winner still eligible to enter drawing at Party on the Square. T-shirts can be purchased at Earth Day for our cost, $7.)

Update 4 18 2010: Solid Waste Management is very pleased to announce that the CLEAN-UP KIT was won by a 9 year old girl who attends Camp Dick Robinson Elementary.
