Solid Waste Coordinator Visits Paint Lick Elementary

The Garrard Central Record, May 5, 2011- Chris Thomason from the Garrard County Solid Waste Department presented fun, fact-filled experiences for each grade level at Paint Lick Elementary School last week. The lessons addressed the importance of recycling and proper disposal of waste. Mr. Thomason said the goal of his agency is to “teach young people to grow up to be good environmental stewards.”
